GD350-19 Series VFD for Crane
GD350-19 series VFD is a new generation of VFD that INVT develops for cranes by using advanced control technologies based on more than ten-year accumulative crane-industry experience. The VFD has integrated rich lifting industry delicated control functions and STO fucntions, and can be widely applied to various cranes in different fields such as ports, factories, construction sites, and mining, with excellent control performance, comprehensive safety protection functions, and flexible expansion capability.

1. Professional protection for safer operation
• Travel limit protection: Integrated upper/lower limit and deceleration limit functions to restrict crane operation within a designated range, ensuring safety while optimizing stop modes and improving equipment efficiency.
• Slack rope protection: Prevents accidents caused by rope slack during high-speed hoisting, malfunctions in acceleration, or rope failure.
• Smooth hoisting: Automatically reduces speed when the hook lifts a load during high-speed operation, ensuring smooth hoisting and minimizing impact on the crane.
• Zero servo: Locks the motor at zero speed, maintaining hold even under external force. In brake failure cases, ensures safe suspension or controlled descent.
• Anti-snag protection: Emergency stop if unexpected contact occurs during hoisting.
• STO (SIL2): Cuts off torque output to prevent accidental startup, allows system monitoring for quick recovery.
• Braking short-circuit protection: Protects against braking resistor short circuits with ultra-high torque.

2. Safe and reliable, no creeping
• Dedicated brake logic: Integrated torque verification ensures brake is released only after sufficient torque is built.
• High torque at low frequency: PG vector: 0Hz/200%, space vector: 0.5Hz/150% rated torque.

• Excellent load adaptability: Hoisting-specific algorithm adapts torque to varying loads.
• Crane-specific macros: One-click parameter setup for hoisting applications.
• One-click open/closed-loop switching: Fast recovery from encoder failure without runtime impact.

4. Tower crane rotation control
• Anti-eddy current control: Eliminates eddy current during rotation, enabling quick reverse braking and low-speed positioning.
• Smooth rotation control: Built-in algorithm ensures stable operation and improved efficiency.

5. Cost reduction and efficiency improvement
• 3-group motor switching: Reduces cost with time-based control. Macro parameters auto-switch even in master-slave scenarios.

• Conical rotor motor: Flux regulation ensures fast brake control and easy debugging.
• Double-winding motor: Reliable dual-winding control.
• Outer-rotor motor: Supports non-integer gear ratios with built-in stable control algorithms.
