BYD may build a power battery factory in South Korea

On August 22, BYD plans to build a joint power battery plant with KG Mobility (formerly Ssangyong Motor Co) in South Korea, possibly near KG Mobility's Pyeongtaek plant, according to the foreign media Kedglobal. It is reported that the factory will be BYD's first joint venture factory in South Korea, which means that BYD begins to lay out the Korean power battery market.
