China to enhance independent and controllable level of energy industry chain
China's National Energy Administration announced that it will improve the security and stability of China's energy supply from four aspects. Firstly, take multiple measures to increase energy supply capacity, strengthen the construction of advanced coal production capacity, increase the exploration and development of oil and gas resources, increase clean energy supply, and strengthen the construction of energy reserve capacity. The second is to enhance the independent and controllable level of the energy industry chain, strengthen key technology research, and shore up weak links of the industry chain. The third is to promote low-carbon energy transformation and build new energy systems.
